In the realm of home inspection software, Spectora stands out as a comprehensive solution tailored to streamline the inspection process for professionals in the field. With its array of features designed to enhance efficiency and accuracy, Spectora empowers inspectors to deliver top-notch services while simplifying their workflow.

When comparing Spectora's Advanced and Base software offerings, it's important to understand the differences in features and functionality to determine which option best suits your needs as a home inspector. Let's dive into the differences between our base software and Advanced.

Spectora's Base Software

Spectora's base software is perfect for inspectors who are just getting started. We offer a monthly subscription for our base software at $99 per month or an annual subscription for $999 per year.

Our base software includes:

Spectora Advanced

Spectora Advanced is the solution for both multi-inspector firms and solo inspectors who offer multiple ancillary services.

Advanced is an optional add-on to our base software and costs $3.00 per published inspection. You get to choose whichever features you want to use.

Check out what's included in Advanced:

    • This feature allows inspectors to quickly send one-off emails directly from the Inspection Details page. Companies on Spectora Advanced have the option to create a full set of customizable templates to use for one-off emails, or as placeholders for frequent communications. This allows inspectors to speed up email communications during busy days without complex setting setups, or automations.

    • This feature allows inspectors to create and link customizable tasks to anyone on their teams. Tasks are anything associated with an inspection that needs to be completed. This could be a confirmation task like confirming that a Radon Pick Up was completed, or an inquiry task like a reminder to do a monthly reach out to your local agents! You can customize these tasks to fit your needs. Use Tasks to stay on top of the long list of to-do’s. Learn more

    • Inspectors can add as many clients and agents as they like to an inspection. We also have some new profile options like Attorney, Insurance Agent, Transaction Coordinator, Title Company, etc. Learn More

    • This Advanced feature allows inspectors to designate which services each inspector on their team performs. This is useful when certain inspectors are licensed to do some services they offer, while others are not. Learn More

    • The Agent Record Change Log will show what changes have been made to an agent record in a given company. It shows who made the change (system in some cases where the change wasn't explicitly done by a logged-in user) as well as showing when the change was made, and showing what the previous value and the after value of the field that was changed. Learn More

    • The Conversations feature allows inspectors to leverage their custom numbers to have direct conversations with their clients, inspectors, and agents. They can also easily utilize actions-based messages they may currently receive. They can use Spectora Conversations to follow up with clients post-inspection, coordinate with fellow inspectors between jobs, and reach out to agents about inspection logistics or new requests. Learn More

    • Hourly Tracking is another nifty Advanced feature and makes processing payroll a breeze since inspectors can easily see each time their team members clock in or out on the app. This also makes it easy for their inspectors to track their hours while out in the field. Learn More

    • These Dashboards in Advanced give inspectors a single source of truth and a helpful overview of their business at a glance. With Spectora Advanced you can take the standard dashboard page to the next level with custom widgets, and the ability to create multiple dashboards as well.

Ultimately, the choice between Spectora's Advanced and Base software depends on your individual requirements, preferences, and budget. If you prioritize advanced features, customization options, and scalability, the Advanced software may be the better fit. However, if you're looking for a more straightforward solution with essential functionalities, the Base software may suffice. It's advisable to carefully evaluate the features and pricing of each option to make an informed decision based on your specific needs.
