Once you have Spectora Advanced enabled, you can utilize all of the features including Hourly Tracking. This makes processing payroll a breeze since you'll be able to see each time they clock in or out on the app. In this article, we'll go over how to enable hourly tracking and how to use it in the app.

πŸ”΄ Note: Hourly time tracking is only available for inspectors. Support staff are not able to use hourly tracking at this time.

How to Enable Hourly Tracking

Enabling the Hourly Tracking feature is the first step in tracking your inspectors' hours. You'll see Hourly Tracking available to enable under your Settings.

  1. Click "Settings"

  2. Click "Advanced Tools"

  3. Click "Enable Hourly Tracking"

  4. Click "Time Tracking Manager" to view all recent time punches

  5. You can view, edit, delete, and export the time-tracking

🌟 Pro-tip: If an inspector forgot to clock in or did not do so correctly, admins can click Edit or Delete next to the time entry to change them! + Add Manual Entry will create a brand new time clock entry on the tracker.

How to Use Time Tracking in the App

Once you have Hourly Tracking enabled, you'll see an option to clock in and out through the app. This makes it easy for you or your inspectors to track their hours while out in the field.

πŸ’‘ Quick tip: Click on the video above to expand it in another window.

  1. Once enabled, the Time Tracker will show at the bottom of the app dashboard

  2. To start tracking, tap "Clock In"

  3. The "clocked in" time will appear

  4. To clock out for the day or just for a break, tap "Clock Out"

  5. Once clocked out, the tracker will show the "Clock In" option again for the next punch
