Notifications in Spectora help keep you informed about important updates, pending actions, or potential issues within your inspections, subscription billing, or integrations. While these notifications are valuable for staying on top of your tasks, it’s equally important to know how to clear them to keep your dashboard organized and clutter-free.

In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps to clear notifications in Spectora, ensuring you can easily manage your notifications and maintain a clean workflow.

What are Alerts?

In Spectora, notifications work by automatically monitoring key events and actions within your account and notifying you or your clients when attention is needed. These alerts are triggered by specific conditions, such as a failed payment, a payment dispute, or a card on file nearing its expiration date.

By keeping you informed of critical details, notifications ensure smoother operations, fewer missed deadlines, and better client communication.

❇️ Pro-tip: The Notifications bar displays both upcoming and past alerts, showing events up to 30 days in the future and up to 60 days in the past.

Resolving Notifications

Resolving notifications in Spectora is easy! Notifications will show two options below the message - Update and Dismiss.

By clicking "Update" below a notification message, you'll be directed to the appropriate page to complete the necessary action such as updating subscription payment information or handling a dispute.

Once you've completed the necessary action, the notification is considered resolved as no further action is needed. The notification will clear from your "notifications" widget once it is resolved or dismissed.
