In Spectora, scheduling notifications keep you informed about essential updates and tasks related to each inspection, including add-on requests, scheduled events (Advanced only), and paysplits (Advanced only). These notifications act as quick reminders that help you track additional services requested by clients, stay updated on important events in your inspection calendar, and manage payments across multiple parties.
With Scheduling notifications, you can streamline your workflow, improve communication with clients and partners, and ensure that every detail is accounted for.
In this article, we’ll delve into how scheduling notifications for add-ons, events, and paysplits work in Spectora, and how they help keep your inspection process organized and efficient.
Add-On Requests
When a client requests an add-on service through the Client Portal, you'll receive a notification. This notification will show you the address and date of the inspection.
To view, accept, or reject the requested add-on service, click "View" below the notification.

To view the service or add-on that the template was linked to, click "View" below the notification.
Agreements
When an agreement is deleted that has dependent services or add-ons, you'll receive a notification. This notification will tell you that an agreement that is linked to a service or add-on has been deleted so you can link a new agreement to avoid disruption to your scheduling process.
To view the service or add-on that the agreement was linked to, click "View" below the notification.
Service Limitation
As part of Spectora Advanced, Service Limitations allows you to designate which services each inspector on your team performs. If an inspector is assigned to an inspection that they are unable to perform due to these limitations, you'll receive a notification. The notification will show the service, address, and date of the inspection.

Inspection Events
As part of Spectora Advanced, Inspection Events allows you to link calendar events with specific inspections. This is great for events like dropping off or picking up a radon test or water sample test kit. When an inspection is booked online with a service that includes default events, you'll receive a notification informing you of the new events. The notification will show the address and date of the inspection.
To view the inspection and events, click "View" below the notification.

PaySplits
As part of Spectora Advanced, Pay Splits allows you to set up rules for how much each inspector gets paid for each service. When an inspection requires paysplits to be manually assigned, you'll receive a notification. The notification will show the address and date of the inspection.
