In Spectora, managing subscription billing is made easier with the help of automated alerts. These notifications serve as a proactive tool for both service providers and clients, ensuring that important billing events—such as upcoming renewals, payment failures, or subscription changes—are never missed. With these alerts, businesses can stay on top of their financial processes, reduce the risk of missed payments, and provide a smoother, more transparent experience for their customers. In this article, we’ll explore how subscription billing alerts work in Spectora and how they can enhance your billing management.


Subscription at Risk - Card on File Expiring

In Spectora, an alert for a card on file expiring soon helps ensure that subscription payments are not interrupted due to expired payment methods. This notification is sent to you ahead of your card’s expiration date, giving you ample time to update your payment information.

By staying on top of these alerts, you can reduce payment failures and maintain a seamless billing process.

To add a new card on file, click "Update" in the Alert message.


Subscription at Risk - Payment Failed

In Spectora, a payment failure for your subscription billing can happen due to issues like insufficient funds, expired payment methods, or errors with the payment processor. When a payment fails, you’ll receive an alert so you can quickly address the issue. To avoid service disruptions, make sure your payment information is up to date or resolve any issues with your bank.

By promptly handling payment failures, you can ensure a smooth billing process and uninterrupted service.

To add a new card on file, click "Update" in the Alert message.


Subscription at Risk - Advanced Billing

If you are seeing an Alert message stating that there is no payment method set up for Advanced billing, it means the system doesn't have a valid payment method to process the charges.

To resolve this, you'll need to update or add a credit card to your account. Once the card information is updated, billing can proceed as usual, ensuring there are no interruptions in your subscription. Be sure to keep your payment details current to avoid any disruptions in service.

To add a new card on file for Advanced, click "Update" in the Alert message.


Subscription Cancelled

In Spectora, your subscription may be cancelled if a payment fails repeatedly. This typically happens when there are issues such as insufficient funds, an expired payment method, or other billing errors. If your subscription is cancelled due to a failed payment, you'll need to update your payment information and resolve any issues before the subscription can be reactivated. Staying on top of your payment details helps prevent interruptions and ensures continuous access to your services.

To reactivate your subscription, click "Contact" in the Alert message to chat with our team.
