There may be times when you want to turn off the automated emails & texts that go out to your clients and agents. This could be because you're not ready for them to receive the confirmation notice while you're finalizing details, or because you're making changes to the inspection details and don't want them to receive numerous emails & texts during that time.
Whatever the case may be, you can easily disable the notifications while scheduling the inspection and after it is scheduled. We'll walk you through how to disable these notifications in both scenarios.
Disabling Notifications During Scheduling
In this section, we'll walk you through how to schedule an inspection with notifications disabled.
Click "+New Inspection"
Fill out the scheduling form as normal
Click "Disable Automated Notifications" under the Miscellaneous section
Click "Save Inspection"
The newly scheduled inspection will have a banner at the top stating the notifications are disabled
Disabling Notifications on Scheduled Inspections
In this section, we'll show you how to disable the notifications on an already-scheduled inspection.
Click on the inspection to open the Inspection Details page
Click "Disable All Notifications" in the Internal box
You will then see a banner at the top stating the notifications are disabled
Enabling Notifications on Scheduled Inspections
If the inspection was confirmed at the time of scheduling, but notifications were disabled, you'll want to be sure to click "Turn On & Requeue Notifications" in the orange banner box. Turning on and re-queuing the notifications tells the system to start your emails and texts from the very beginning; meaning your confirmation email/text will go out first as if notifications were never disabled.
If the inspection was not confirmed at the time of scheduling, you would want to click "Confirm and Send Notifications" so your confirmation email/text goes out to the client and agent. This starts your notifications from the beginning of their usual queue.
