Occasionally, you may need to manually send an action email or text to the client/agent on an inspection. This may be due to the action not triggering originally or you may just need to resend a message. Either way, you can easily send an action email or text right from the inspection page.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why isn't the "send" button showing up next to my action?

    • If the send button isn't showing, you'll need to enable the action first. To do so, toggle the switch to change the action from 'disabled' to 'enabled.'

  • Why didn't my action send when I scheduled the inspection? Do I need to manually send it?

    • If the inspection was scheduled/confirmed with notifications disabled, your scheduling actions may not have been fired. This is because those actions look for the triggering event which is the inspection being confirmed.

    • If notifications are disabled during that triggering event (scheduling/confirmation), the action will miss the event and will not be sent out. You will need to manually send the action so the client/agent can receive the message.

  • Can I send a one-off email instead?
