"Help! I did my 8:30 inspection under my 12:30 for today! How can I bring that over to the proper location?"
Don't panic! We've got you covered on what to do when a report is filled out at the wrong address.
It can be scary to realize that a report was started or even completed under the wrong inspection address. Fortunately, we make it easy to transfer your report to the correct property without losing any of your hard work. Follow these steps to quickly and seamlessly move your report to the right inspection.

Before beginning this process, be sure to complete all app-based inspection work in its entirety and sync to the web.
Click on the inspection that contains the completed report to access the Inspection Details page.
Click the three dots to the right of the report in the Reports box.
Select "Copy" from the menu.
In the pop-up window, search for the correct inspection address and select it from the drop-down list.
Click "OK."
The report is now copying to the correct address. The next steps will help you clean up this inspection before moving on.Click the three dots to the right of the report once again.
Select "Delete" from the menu.
Click the red Delete button to confirm the deletion.
Click "+New" in the upper right of the Reports box to add a new blank report to this inspection.
Select the appropriate template from the drop-down.
Click "Add Report."
The inspection that had the wrong report is ready for you to complete! The following steps will help you make sure the inspection that received the report copy looks good.Search for the address you copied the report to using the search bar.
Verify the report has been copied to the correct address.
The copied report with all of your data will always say "Copy" after the report name.Click the three dots beside the empty report.
Click "Delete."
Click the red "Delete" button to confirm the deletion.
You're all done! By following these steps, you can easily transfer a report from the wrong inspection address to the correct one without losing your valuable work.
What If the Inspection Is Under the Wrong Company Account?
Unlike transferring a report to a different address within the same company, there is no way to transfer inspections directly between separate company accounts. This limitation exists due to the complexity and risk of data loss involved. If an inspection was created under the wrong company account, you will need to recreate it manually.
Create the inspection in the correct company account — Log into the correct company account and create the inspection from scratch with all the relevant details.
Delete the incorrect inspection — Once the inspection is set up in the correct account, delete it from the wrong company to keep your data accurate.
🔴 Note: Any report data completed under the wrong company account cannot be directly transferred. If work was done on the report, you will need to redo it in the correct account.
