Keeping your payment information up to date is crucial for ensuring uninterrupted access to your Spectora services. Whether you need to update an expired card, switch to a different payment method, or review your billing details, managing your payment card on file is a straightforward process.

In this article, we’ll guide you through how to easily update or change the payment card associated with your Spectora account, helping you maintain a seamless experience with your subscriptions and services.

How to Change Your Payment Method

πŸ’‘Quick tip: Click on the video above to expand it in another window.

  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right

  2. Click "Billing" in the dropdown menu

  3. Click "Payment Methods"

  4. Click "Remove" to delete any old card(s) you no longer wish to use

  5. Click "Add New Card" to add a new payment method

It's important to keep your payment method on file current so your subscription does not risk cancellation. If your card is lost, stolen, or expired, you'll want to add your new card as soon as possible. If your card on file/payment fails, the system will automatically recharge the card during your 5-day grace period before canceling.

Note: Adding a new credit card or updating your card on file will not automatically assign the new card to your subscriptions or Advanced billing- this will have to be manually updated! Here's how you can update your subscriptions or Advanced billing.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How can I check to see what card is getting billed for my subscription?

    • You'll find that on your Billing page!

      • Click on your name in the top right corner

      • Click "Billing" in the dropdown menu

      • Click "Payment Methods"

  • Can my new employee/inspector share my account/subscription?

    • No, each inspector profile needs its own subscription.

  • I'm having another inspector help me out with a large job. He already has a Spectora account. Can he use his own subscription/account to inspect with me?

    • No. Even though the other inspector may have their own Spectora account, it is not connected to your company. If you need the inspector to be able to access the report and fill it out with you, you'll need to add a subscription for them under your company.
