How to Change Your Billing Date

If you need to adjust the billing date for your Spectora subscriptions, whether it’s to align with your budgeting cycle or to better manage your finances, it's a simple process. Changing your billing date ensures that your payments are scheduled at a time that works best for you.

In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to modify your billing date, making sure your subscription remains uninterrupted and your payments are more convenient to manage.


⚠️ Important: You can only move your billing date to an earlier date within your current billing cycle — you cannot move it to a later date or a future month. The calendar will only show dates available for selection based on this restriction.

Changing Your Billing Date

  1. Click on your profile picture in the top right

  2. Click "Billing" in the dropdown menu

  3. Click "Subscriptions"

  4. Click the ✏️ icon next to the upcoming date of your subscription

  5. Select the new billing date from the calendar

  6. Click "Save"

We'll give you a prorated discount on your next payment. The prorated discount is calculated by how many days are left in your current subscription. Each day is calculated at $1.37. You'll be billed the total cost of the subscription minus $1.37 X days.
