If you created or uploaded a new template, it will have the default template settings. To make it easier for you to keep the same template settings across multiple templates, you can now transfer all settings from one template to another.

We'll walk through on what's included in this feature and how to copy template settings from one template into another in this article.


What is Included and Not Included When Copying Template Settings

There are many settings to configure when it comes to setting up a template. The feature for copying template settings includes a wide range of options, but there are also some that are not included. In this section, we'll walk you through which settings are included and which settings are not included.

Copying Template Settings from One Template to Another

Follow along with the steps below to see how to copy the settings from one template to another.

  1. From your dashboard, click "Templates."

  2. Click the three dots in the top right corner.

  3. Select "Copy template settings."

  4. Choose the template that is currently configured with the correct settings from the drop-down list and add it to the "Template to Copy Settings From."

  5. Next, choose the template from the drop-down list you would like to copy the settings into and add to the "Template to Copy Settings To."

  6. Finally, click the "Copy Template Settings" button.
