This article covers how to add a new sub-inspector or add-on inspector to your team. You'll also see how to add a new support or office staff member.
Adding a Sub-Inspector to Your Company
Congrats on expanding your team! If you need to add an employee or an inspector, here’s how:
Click on your profile picture in the top right
Click "Settings" in the dropdown menu
Click "Team"
Click "Add Inspector"
Select either a monthly subscription or an annual subscription
Enter their name, phone number, and email
Set their permissions
Click "Add Inspector"
Note: Add-on inspector pricing is $89 per month for a monthly software subscription; $828 per year for an annual software subscription.
When adding a new inspector to your team, they will receive a confirmation email to the email address entered with their name and phone number. If they have not received the confirmation email, it can be resent to them from the Spectora login page.
If the inspector already has a Spectora account with the same email address, they will not receive a confirmation email. They can use the email and password setup previously to log in, then change their role through the profile.
Adding Support Staff to Your Company
Congrats on expanding your team! If you need to add an employee, office staff member, or admin for any reason, here’s how:
Click on your profile picture in the top right
Click "Settings" in the dropdown menu
Click "Team"
Click "Add Staff Member"
Enter their name, phone number, and email
Set their permissions
Click "Add Staff Member"
Support Staff are FREE to add to your company. Support staff are limited to Spectora.com. Support staff accounts do not have access to the Apple or Android App since it is an inspector-only report-writing tool.
Frequently Asked Questions
I'm trying to add a new inspector/staff member and it is not sending them a confirmation/login email. When I try to set up a password it's not working either. What do I do?
If the staff member is not receiving the confirmation/login email, have them try resetting their password with the password reset link.
How do I give my company administrator access to spectora?
In order to give an administrator access to Spectora, you can add them as a support staff team member.
Once you've added them as a team member, you can enable the 'admin' permission for them.
