How to Fix Your Base Price in Services

If your base price is adding too much for modifier fees, here is how to fix it. Keywords: modifiers wrong, base price wrong, pricing wrong

If you're seeing a much higher fee for your inspection than it should be, it is likely happening because you put the total price you want to charge for a modifier instead of what you want to add to the base price!

This is resolved by changing the fee in the modifier to the amount you want to add to the total cost.


How to Change Your Base Price and Modifier Fee

You can always edit this in your Service & Fees.

  1. Click "Settings"

  2. Click "Services and Fees"

  3. Click to expand the Service you want to edit

  4. Click into "Base Cost" to update your Services base cost

  5. Click to expand the Modifiers for the Service

  6. Click into "Add Fee" to update the fee amount you want added to the total cost

  7. Repeat steps 3-6 for each Modifier and Service you want to update

  • Square Feet

  • Square Meters

  • Age of home

  • Year built

  • Zip/postal code

  • Foundation type

  • Miles away from company address

  • Kilometers away from company address

  • Miles from inspector's home address

  • Kilometers away from company address
