When using mileage modifiers, Spectora calculates "miles away" from either a home or company address. This allows you to set up additional fees based on how far you need to travel to an inspection.

Just like with the "miles from home" modifier, the "miles away from company address" modifier requires you to have your company address saved to your profile. My mileage modifier didn't pull in properly. What happened?
This can happen for a few different reasons!
If you have your modifier set to "miles from home address" but don't have your home address saved, the system isn't able to calculate the mileage.
The property may be closer or farther away than the mileage ranges you have set up. For example: if your last mileage range is 75-100 miles away from the company address, and someone books an inspection that is 120 miles away, the system doesn't have any "instructions" to calculate beyond 100 miles. You'll want to make sure you add more mileage ranges to your modifiers.

I'm self-employed so my home address and my company address are the same. Do I need to put my address in my profile/account?
You certainly don't need to if you'd prefer not to. But without this address, driving directions and modifiers will not work since there is no "starting point" for you. You can hide your address from public view under Settings > Profile and have this box unchecked:
