This guide will walk you through how to get started with the new app, so you can make the most of Spectora’s latest advancements.

Step 1: Open this article on your mobile device
iOS Users
Tap here from your mobile device to download the latest version of the app using the App Store.

Go to the Google Play Store on your Android device.
Search for Spectora V10 or Spectora X.
Download and install the app.
Once downloaded, log in using your Spectora account credentials.

Step 2: Familiarize Yourself with the New Features
The V10 app introduces several improvements to help you perform inspections faster and more efficiently:
Enhanced Speed and Stability: The new app is optimized for better performance, reducing lag and making it easier to navigate through inspections.
Updated Interface: The design has been revamped for a smoother user experience. It’s more intuitive, with simpler workflows to help you move through your inspection with ease.
Improved Photo and Video Uploads: Uploading photos and videos is faster, and you can annotate them directly within the app.
Offline Capability: The app works seamlessly offline, allowing you to complete inspections in areas without internet access. Your data will sync automatically once you're back online.
Step 3: Set Up Your Preferences
Before starting your first inspection, take a moment to configure your app settings:

Go to the Settings tab in the app.
Adjust settings like auto-syncing, annotation, and app theme to suit your needs
Step 4: Start a New Inspection
Once your settings are configured, you’re ready to start inspecting!
Create an inspection as you normally would but be sure to check the “Use V10 reporting on this inspection” at the bottom of the page under the "Beta" section.
Step 5: Fill Out Your Report in the V10 App
Once you've created an inspection, you're ready to start utilizing the V10 app to write your reports. We highly recommend checking out this video walk-through on using the V10 app before you start your first inspection:

Step 6: (Optional) Convert an existing inspection for use with Spectora V10
If you import inspections from ISN, use the online scheduler, or have a previously scheduled inspection that you'd like to use with Spectora V10, you can go to the inspection, click the MORE tab, and then click Convert to V10!
🔴 The Convert to V10 option in the more drop-down menu will not show until the report(s) are deleted!
Step 7: (Optional) Defaulting to V10
If you give V10 a try and want to exclusively use it going forward, you can select this setting under Settings > Report Options > Default to V10!
When toggling on this setting, all future inspections that were V9 with reports that have not built yet will automatically change to V10 and all reports will be built as V10.
If you toggle this setting off, all future inspections that were V10 with reports that have not built yet will revert back to V9 and all reports will be built as V9.
