We’re excited to share that on March 16th, 2025, Version 10 of our mobile app will become the default in the app store, giving you access to the most up-to-date version of Spectora. This update ensures you can access the most up-to-date tools to streamline your inspection process.
What do I need to do?
To ensure you’re ready for the update, please choose one of the following options:
Get started with V10 now (recommended): You can download the latest version of the app before March 16th by following these instructions!
Continue using the legacy app (V9): If you prefer, you can continue using the legacy app for the time being, but you will need to redownload a version of the app by following these instructions before March 16th.
Wait for auto-update on March 16th: If you take no action, your app will automatically update to V10, and all future inspections will be on the new version.
🔴 Important: If you wait for the auto-update, unsynced inspections may be at risk of data loss. Be sure to sync all inspections to the web before March 16th, or get started with V10 to avoid risk.

Our previous app, V9 (Legacy), was built on an older platform that struggles to keep up with the latest devices and operating systems. As technology continues to evolve, we recognized the need for an app that can adapt to these changes and offer enhanced performance. V10 is designed to meet today’s standards, ensuring better compatibility and a smoother user experience moving forward.
V10 Download for iOS Apple Devices (before March 16th)

Tap here from your mobile device. Your web browser will open to a page where you'll first be prompted to download an app called "TestFlight" from the App Store (Step 1).
You may be prompted to enter a code - no such code exists! PLEASE DISREGARD this prompt and continue to step two.After downloading TestFlight, return to your web browser on your mobile device and tap on the "Start Testing" button. You'll be prompted to "Accept" the invite. Accept the invite and then tap "Install."

Tap here from your mobile device to download the latest version of the app using Google Play.

Go to the Google Play Store on your Android device.
Search for Spectora V10 or Spectora X.
Download and install the app.

Allow unknown apps on the permissions pop-up.
V9 will download. Log in and inspect as usual!

Go to your current light blue Spectora app
🔴 Make sure all of your recent inspections are synced to the cloud. 🔴
Delete the app

1. Download the TestFlight App from the app store on your mobile device
You may be prompted to enter a code - no such code exists! Please press CANCEL and continue to step two.
2. Tap this link to access V9
3. Select “Start Testing”
4. Download the app and inspect as normal!
