Request Spectora reviews when clients access their report through the client portal

Spectora Reviews are a great way to receive customer feedback and grow your business. πŸͺ΄ The client portal makes collecting reviews effortless.

βŒ› Time-Saving Tip: On the client portal, clients or agents can edit their reviews, you no longer have to reach out to Spectora to have a review fixed! Check out this article to see how they can edit their reviews.



How to Enable Spectora Reviews

  1. Click "Settings"

  2. Under Business Tools, click "Reviews Options"

  3. Check the box "Enable Spectora Reviews"

  4. You have 2 options for how to collect reviews.

    1. Option 1 - "Display review popup in reports"

    2. Option 2 - "Display 'Leave a Review' as a task in the Client Portal"

  5. You can select one or the other, or both options

  6. Optional: You can opt to receive an email notification when someone leaves a review

  7. To receive an email notification, check the box and enter your email address

This task will only appear after the inspection is concluded and the report is published.

Testing the Review Options in the Client Portal

Option 1: Display review popup in reports

  1. Click on a completed and published inspection

  2. Open an email sent to the client with the portal link

  3. Click "Inspection Details" to open the client portal

  4. Click "View Report"

  5. A popup will appear while scrolling through the report. Clients can leave their review or dismiss the popup until later.

Option 2: Display 'Leave a Review' as a task in the Client Portal

  1. Click on a completed and published inspection

  2. Open an email sent to the client with the portal link

  3. Click "Inspection Details" to open the client portal

  4. Under Tasks, click "Review Us on Spectora"

  5. Clients can leave a review and rate out of 5 stars

  6. Once they complete the review, they can click "Done!"

  7. Clients can also decline if they do not wish to leave a review

At this time, Spectora does not integrate directly with Google Reviews. You can add a link for your Google Review page to your emails if you'd prefer. Or you can request external reviews through the client portal!

  • Is there a way to add a widget to my website that shows the Spectora reviews I have?

    • Unfortunately not. Spectora Reviews does not have an embedded link to add anywhere else.

  • How can I add Spectora Reviews to my website?

    • If your website is hosted with us, you can submit an edit request to our web team by clicking here.

    • If your website is not hosted with us, you will have to take screenshots of your reviews and insert them into your website. Another way is to have a direct link to your Spectora Profile and they can view those reviews there.
