You can talk to our awesome Client Success Team whether you have a question, feature request, or want to report a bug. You can easily access our chat bubble to talk with the team through your app or on the web! In this article, we'll show you how to find and use the chat bubble.


Chatting in From the Web

If you're working on a report or setting up your Spectora account, our team is just a click away through the chat bubble in your web browser. Do you have questions or need assistance? We're here to help without interrupting your workflow. Follow along with the steps below to see how to chat from the web.

  1. Click the green chat bubble in the bottom right corner of your screen

  2. Click "Ask a question"

  3. Enter your question in the text box

  4. Click the arrow button or use the "Enter" key on your keyboard to send your message

  5. To close the chat bubble, click the down arrow button

When you're on an inspection and need help, it's super convenient to reach out to our team right through your Spectora app! See how to chat with our team directly from the app with the steps below.

  1. Tap the 3 lines in the top left corner of your app

  2. Tap "Help" to open the chat bubble

  3. Tap "Messages"

  4. Tap the paper & pencil icon to start a new chat

  5. Tap "Start a chat"

  6. Enter your message and tap "Send"

  7. To close the chat, tap the X in the top right corner

  8. You'll still be able to see responses from our team at the bottom of your app screen

How to Disable the Chat Bubble

If you'd prefer not to have the chat bubble available, you can disable it in your account settings.

πŸ”΄ Note: This will disable the chat bubble. You will not be able to contact tech support, get warnings for undelivered emails/texts, receive notifications about your account, or hear about new features from our team.

  1. Click "Settings"

  2. Click "User Options"

  3. Click "Disable All Chat Functions" to check the box

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I clear out messages/notifications?

    • To clear the notification for your messages, you'll need to tap into each one that has a red dot. This will mark the message as "read" and remove the notification.
      ​

  • I have a lot of notifications, is there a way to mass-clear them?

    • Unfortunately not! Each message will need to be opened individually to clear the notifications.
      ​

  • I don't like having all of these notifications on my phone, how do I turn them off?

  • Is there a way to move the chat bubble? It's blocking the button I need.

    • Unfortunately, there's not a way to move the chat bubble! The best option would be to disable the chat bubble in your app or on your web account temporarily to remove it.
      ​

  • How do I close the chat bubble? I don't want to see the pop-up messages right now.

    • To close the chat bubble in your app, tap the X in the top right corner

    • To close the chat bubble on the web, click the down arrow in the bottom right corner
