Move-in Concierge offer by Fixle: Overview for Inspectors

An overview of the Move-in Concierge offer by Fixle for inspectors — what it covers, how clients opt in, partner standards, and what it means for your workflow.

Written by Shannon Lewis

Overview

Move-in Concierge offers are part of Fixle Protection Products — optional services available to clients through the Spectora client portal. When clients complete their inspection and access their report, they may see an option to request help from a move-in concierge. If they opt in, Fixle connects them with support across utility setup, internet & TV setup, reviewing insurance needs, and exploring home security options.

What is Fixle?

Fixle is a client-facing platform developed by Spectora to support what happens after the inspection. It's designed to take pressure off clients and agents in the post-inspection window, reinforcing the trust already established. The inspection remains central; Fixle provides support for easier closings and happier agents.

How Concierge Fits Into the Client Experience

Fixle Protection Products address a typically chaotic moment for clients: the stretch between inspection and closing. Concierge is a bundled service that helps with the practical tasks of moving into a new home:

  • Utility setup — helps clients identify the electric, gas, and water providers serving their new address, and can walk them through setting up accounts

  • Internet, TV & phone setup — helps clients compare and sign up for internet, TV, and cell/home phone service at their new home

  • Insurance — helping the client review their insurance needs and options

  • Home Security — helping the client explore home security options for their new home

There is no cost to the client for any of this. These are presented as an optional resource in the Client Portal. Your inspection report and workflow are not affected.

How Does the Concierge Offer Appear to Clients?

Concierge options appear in multiple places within the Spectora Client Portal:

  • Pop-Up: A pop-up appears after the client completes agreements and payment, displaying only the Concierge offer (or Insurance/Security, depending on which vertical the client was assigned) and appearing one time.

  • Special Offers Task: A "Special Offers" task displays in the client portal dashboard. This task remains always visible but appears below urgent inspection tasks like agreements, payment, and report viewing.

  • "Moving is Hard" Card: A card at the bottom of the dashboard reads: "Moving is hard. We partnered with trusted brands to make it easier." Clicking it opens the Protection Products view.

  • Special Offers Tab: A dedicated tab allows buyers to revisit Protection Products at any time, even if initially declined.

What Does the Client Opt-In Experience Look Like?

Before Fixle or any concierge partner can contact a client, the client must explicitly request to be contacted:

  1. The Concierge offer is displayed in the client portal

  2. The client chooses whether to engage

  3. If requesting help, they enter contact information and check a consent box

  4. Only then is their information shared with the concierge partner(s)

  5. After submitting, the client sees a Matched Vendor screen identifying who they've been connected with, along with confirmation that a partner will reach out soon and the consent date

If they do not engage, nothing happens. There is no automatic outreach or passive sign-up. The client always controls whether they hear from anyone.

What Happens After a Client Opts In?

  • The Matched Vendor generally contacts the client within 5 business days through a single scheduled call, rather than separate outreach per service — the concierge rep walks through utilities, internet/TV, and security in that one conversation and lays out the available options.

  • The client should have some basic details ready: their name, phone/email, new address, and closing date. Setting up certain utility accounts may require a bit more (e.g., additional identifying information some utility providers require to open an account) — only shared with the specific companies the client approves.

  • Timing matters: clients get the best outcome requesting Concierge help as early as possible — ideally at least 10 days before their closing date — so utilities and internet can be active by move-in. If a client's closing date changes after they've opted in, they should let the concierge team know as soon as possible so appointments can be rescheduled.

Who the Concierge Partners Are

Fixle coordinates the concierge experience. Utility, internet/TV, and home security are handled directly by the concierge team through that single scheduled call described above.

Every partner has agreed to the Spectora Partner Promise, which includes:

  • Explicit consent required before any contact

  • No bait-and-switch on contact purpose

  • Clear identification of who is calling and why

  • Full compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and applicable laws

  • Clear opt-out mechanisms at any time

Spectora conducts routine reviews of partner behavior. Partners not meeting standards are subject to removal.

Which Inspection Types and States Are Eligible?

Concierge is currently available to U.S. accounts only. Canadian companies can manage their Fixle Settings, but Concierge is not yet available for non-US inspections. Contact the support team regarding eligibility for specific inspections.

What This Means for You as an Inspector

Your workflow does not change. Concierge does not affect completing your inspection or delivering your report.

Here's how enablement actually works:

  • Existing accounts with Auto-Enroll enabled will have Concierge available to their clients automatically as soon as it becomes available.

  • All other existing accounts (Auto-Enroll disabled, Fixle disabled, or outside the US) will have Concierge disabled by default — if you want to offer Concierge to your clients, turn it on yourself in Settings > Fixle Protection Products.

  • New U.S. accounts created going forward will have Concierge enabled by default.

You are responsible for:

  • Completing your inspection as you normally would

  • Delivering your inspection report through Spectora

You are not responsible for:

  • Explaining Fixle Protection Products to clients

  • Following up on whether a client engaged with Concierge

  • Resolving issues between a client and a concierge partner

If a client complains about a concierge partner, direct them to support@fixle.com rather than attempting to intervene.

Managing Your Concierge Settings

You can enable or disable Concierge independently from your other Fixle Protection Products:

  1. Navigate to Settings in your Spectora account.

  2. Click Fixle Protection Products.

  3. Use the toggle on the Concierge module to turn it on or off.

Each Protection Product is controlled separately, so disabling Concierge does not affect Home Warranty Coverage, Insurance Offers, or Security Offers by Fixle.

Viewing Concierge Status on Individual Inspections

Each inspection includes a Fixle Protection Products widget on the Inspection Details page. The widget shows:

  • Which Protection Product offers are active for that inspection

  • Whether the client has engaged with any of those offers

This gives you a quick, per-inspection view of what your client has been offered and whether they opted in — without needing to follow up with the client directly.

Client Protections

What does the Spectora Partner Promise cover?

Every concierge partner has agreed to Spectora's Partner Promise. Under this promise, partners must:

  • Only contact clients who explicitly requested contact

  • Be transparent about who they are and why they are reaching out

  • Honor the specific purpose for which consent was given — no bait-and-switch

  • Provide clear opt-out mechanisms in every communication

  • Comply with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and all applicable laws

What happens if a concierge partner violates these standards?

Spectora conducts routine reviews of all partners. If a partner violates the Partner Promise or Spectora receives multiple complaints, Spectora works with them to correct behavior or removes them from the network.

How can a client opt out after opting in?

Once opted in, clients must opt out with the relevant partner directly; Spectora cannot opt out on their behalf. Opt-out is immediate if requested directly with the partner. Common opt-out mechanisms include:

  • Replying "STOP" or "END" via text

  • Clicking "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of an email

  • Verbally requesting not to be contacted via phone

If a client reports contact continued after opting out, this may be a Partner Promise violation. Contact support@fixle.com with the inspection address and details for escalation and review.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does my client have to opt in to Concierge to see their inspection report?

    • No. The inspection report is always accessible in the Client Portal.

    • Fixle Protection Products — including Concierge — are optional and do not prevent access to the inspection report or any other documents.

  • When should my client request Concierge help?

    • As early as possible — ideally at least 10 days before their closing date, so there's enough time to get utilities and internet active before move-in.

  • What information will my client need to have ready?

    • Basic contact info (name, phone, email), their new address, and their closing date.

    • Setting up certain utility accounts may require a bit more identifying information — only shared with the specific companies the client approves, never sold or traded.

  • What if my client's closing date changes after they've already opted in?

    • They should let the concierge team know as soon as possible so any scheduled appointments can be updated.

  • What if my client complains about receiving too many calls after opting in?

    • If a client feels over-contacted or contact continues after opting out, the client needs to opt out directly with the partner. Common opt-out mechanisms are:

      • Replying "STOP" or "END" via text

      • Clicking "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of an email

      • Verbally requesting not to be contacted via phone

    • If contact continues after opting out, this may be a Partner Promise concern. Encourage the client to contact support@fixle.com with the inspection address and details for escalation and review.

  • Can I disable Concierge without turning off all Fixle features?

    • Yes. You can disable Concierge independently from Spectora account settings.

    • Navigate to Settings, click Fixle Protection Products, and use the toggle on the Concierge module to turn it off.

    • Each Protection Product is controlled separately, so disabling Concierge does not affect Home Warranty Coverage, Insurance Offers, or Security Offers by Fixle.

  • My company already has Insurance or Security enabled — will my clients see Concierge too?

    • No. A given client is shown either Concierge or Insurance/Security — not both.

  • Are Concierge offers available outside the U.S.?

    • Fixle Protection Products, including Concierge, are currently available to U.S. customers only. Canadian companies can manage their Fixle Settings, but Concierge offers are not yet available in Canada.
