Not at all! The links will direct the client or whoever looks at your profile to your Facebook or Instagram accounts.

Is there a way to show my social media handle rather than just an icon in my profile?
Currently, the clickable icon is the only way to have your social media links show on your profile.
As a workaround, you can add your social media URLs to the description box in your profile. By creating a hyperlink, you can enter whatever text you'd like along with the URL to your social media account.
