Are you looking to refresh your cover photo or main report photo? We've put together a user-friendly guide to help you seamlessly add a cover photo to your inspection and report using our app.

There are a few reasons why this may be required:

  • Your current cover photo appears to be missing

  • The current cover photo may not be the one you intended

  • It might be time for a fresh update on your cover photo

  • Your current cover photo appears to be blank

Take a look at the video and follow the step-by-step guide below to learn how to add your cover photo.

How to Add a Cover Photo on your Next Gen App

  1. Click on the Inspection you need to update.

  2. Click on the blank area or picture at the top.

  3. Select how you would like to add the photo. You can add by using Take Photo or Add from Gallery.

  4. Apply to your inspection and report by checking both options.

Please note: There are multiple options available for applying the cover photo. If you choose the "Inspection" option, the cover photo will be updated on both the client portal and the inspection details page. Alternatively, selecting "Reports" and applying to each report will use the cover photo you uploaded and add it to the report and PDF for each selected report.

  5. Hit "Save."

πŸ’‘Quick tip: Click on the video above to expand it in another window.

FAQ

  • Why is my report missing the cover photo?

If you're experiencing an issue with your photo not appearing on all reports, there is a high chance that it was not selected. Please make sure to apply it to the inspection and reports as instructed in Step 4.

  • Why is my photo not saving?

Please ensure that your photo is formatted as either JPEG or PNG, as our system is not compatible with HEIC or PDF images.
