Thank you for your interest in the Alpha Version!  We greatly appreciate you helping us test. We've put it through the ringer internally, but need help with "real world" testing.   MAKE SURE YOU DO BOTH THE DOWNLOAD AND THE VERSION CHANGE.

Here's how to join:

Apple iOS Users

  • Grab the Apple app "TestFlight" from the App Store

  • Once downloaded, click this link to accept an invitation to Spectora's Version. https://testflight.apple.com/join/wfbqXtIK

  • You'll see a request to download the Alpha Version over the current Spectora you have you on your device. Accept this.

IMPORTANT: Once you are logged into the app with the new version, go to Settings, and change the version of the app you're on from regular 7.1.2 base version to the up to date latest version 7.1.8 (Production to DEVELOPMENT). To do this:

  1. In the mobile app main menu, go to Settings

  2. Scroll down to "App Version" and tap it 6 times to reveal additional options (hard to show in the video)

  3. Change the "App Build Channel" to "DEVELOPMENT"

  4. Hit the green button to "Get Latest Update"

You should now be on Version 7.1.16 (as of August 29th, 2019).

Android Users

  • Let us know your email address you use to login for the Google Play Store via our in-app chat or an email to info@spectora.com

  • Once we add you (we'll confirm on the support chat), it takes about an hour for the Google Play Store to process the request. Then:

  1. Save all inspection data currently on your app version to the web.

  2. Delete your current app (6.2.30 Production)

  3. Go to the Google Play Store and search for the Spectora App

  4. In the Spectora App main menu, go to Settings

  5. Scroll down to "App Version", (you should see 7.1.2 if you're on the Alpha Version) and tap "App Version" 6 times to reveal additional options (hard to show in the video)

  6. Change the "App Build Channel" to "DEVELOPMENT"

  7. Hit the green button to "Get Latest Update"

You should now be on Version 7.1.16 (as of August 29th, 2019).
