There may be times when you need to adjust the fees of an inspection after it has already been scheduled. You can easily add, remove, or edit a fee on any inspection. We'll show you how to do each one in this article!
Adding a Manual Fee
If you need to add a manual fee for things like additional travel time or additional mold swaps, you can easily do so on the inspection itself. In this section, we'll go over how to add a manual fee to the inspection invoice.
Click on the inspection to open the Inspection Details page
Click the 3 dots in the "Fees & Payments" box
Click "Edit Fees & Payments"
Click "+Manual Fee"
Enter an amount
Enter any notes needed
Click "Save"
Adding a Manual Discount
Need to add an additional discount for a client? You can add it to the inspection page with just a few easy steps. In this section, we'll show you how to add a manual discount to the inspection invoice.
Click on the inspection to open the Inspection Details page
Click the 3 dots in the "Fees & Payments" box
Click "Edit Fees & Payments"
Click "+Manual Fee"
Enter a description in the "Line Item" box
Enter a NEGATIVE dollar amount
Enter any payment notes or invoice notes needed
Click "Save"
Editing an Existing Fee
If you need to increase or decrease an existing fee, this can be done through the Inspection Details page on the web. In this section, we'll go over how to edit an existing fee on an inspection invoice.
Click on the inspection to open the Inspection Details page
Click the 3 dots in the "Fees & Payments" box
Click "Edit Fees & Payments"
Edit the amount of the existing fee(s)
Click "Save"
Removing a Fee
Need to remove a fee? No problem! You can easily remove this from the client's invoice in just a few steps. In this section, we'll show you how to remove a fee from an inspection invoice.
Click on the inspection to open the Inspection Details page
Click the 3 dots in the "Fees & Payments" box
Click "Edit Fees & Payments"
Click the "X" to remove the fee
Click "Save"
Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't I see the option to remove/delete a fee on my app?
Fees cannot be added or removed via the mobile app. This can only be done via the web browser.
