Spectora Advanced allows administrators to utilize the capacity chart that shows the average daily inspector capacity compared to the available capacity over a specified period (up to 4 weeks forward or 4 weeks back).

Use this chart to gain insight into staffing and scheduling conditions:

  • See who can take on more hours πŸ’ͺ

  • See who needs a break πŸŒοΈβ€β™‚οΈ

  • See if it is time to hire πŸ“ˆ

Capacity is quantified by hours or time slots depending on the "Availability" settings of your company:

Time Slots Example

At Fake Inspection Company, there are 3 Inspectors (Liz, Chuck, and Daniel) who are available for 1 time slot each Monday through Friday. The total daily capacity for this company is 3 time slots.

In the first example, there are multiple inspections booked for the first week of April, but none in the remaining weeks. πŸ˜“πŸ“‰

The capacity chart will reflect the average daily inspection slots used over the period selected. As the period reviewed is lengthened from 1 to 4 weeks the capacity used becomes proportionally less. ⬇️

In the second example, they've booked consistently throughout the month. πŸ€‘πŸ“ˆ

Since the capacity chart reflects the average daily inspections and the capacity used is identical each week, there is no change to the "Average Number of Inspections over period" when the period is lengthened. πŸ€“

Open Schedule Example

When a company uses "Open Schedule" availability the base durations of the scheduled services are used to determine the capacity used:

At Fake Inspection Company, there are 3 Inspectors (Liz, Chuck, and Daniel) who are available from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Monday through Friday. The total daily capacity for this company is 24 Hours or 3 x 8-hour shifts.

Their standard "Residential Inspection" service has a base duration of 3 hours. Daniel (πŸŸ₯) always performs an additional roof inspection with a base duration of 2 hours.

The additional service hours used are reflected in the capacity chart:

Just like with time slots the capacity chart shows the average daily capacity used, see how the average inspection hours change based on the period selected.

The first week has no inspections booked so it impacts the average capacity used when included in the reviewed period:
