How to Integrate with Secure24

Secure24 is an authorized ADT dealer that pays inspector $200 for every successful installation. Here's how to set up the integration.

Secure24 is an authorized ADT dealer that pays inspectors $200 for each successful installation. It's a great way to offer homebuyers peace of mind while making you additional income!

Spectora users can integrate directly with Secure24. There are two ways to use the integration:

  1. Automatic lead submission to Secure24. You can designate certain services to automatically send lead info to Secure24 upon publishing. This generally results in more conversions and you can always disable per-inspection before publishing.

  2. Manual lead submission from the mobile app or Inspection Details page. This allows you more control over the process, ensuring that clients who are not interested in an alarm system don't get contacted.

Both methods send the client an opt-out email in case they change their mind!

Setting up the Integration

  1. In Settings > Company Settings > System Integrations > Enable Secure24

  2. After enabling the integration, a pop-up for settings will be displayed. Choose the method you prefer: automatic or manual. 

    1. If you are using the automatic submission, you'll be sent to the Services page to select which services should default to send to Secure24. Choose any services where clients might be interested in alarm systems!

  3. Next, choose if you want an opt-out email to go out to each lead you submit. If so, you can optionally customize the opt-out email your clients will receive from you and choose how many hours to delay it.

    1. Be sure to include the {{SECURE_24_OPT_OUT}} shortcode somewhere in the email (or else it will be inserted for you at the end).  The email will use your usual email header/footer and settings set up in Automation.

  4. Click "Enable Secure24"!

How Automatic Leads Work

When using the automatic lead submission, you'll notice a new box at the bottom of the New Inspection Form:

This will automatically check when you add services to the inspection that have the Secure24 setting enabled.

You'll also see a new box on the Inspection Details page allowing you to submit or disable Secure24 for this inspection:

How to Submit Manual Leads

  • To submit a client's contact information to Secure24 in the mobile app, hit "More Options" from the Inspection Details page and "Send lead to Secure24":

  • To do so on the web, pop into Inspection Details and click "Submit to S24" here:

  • The client will automatically receive your customized opt-out email and Secure24 will receive the client's data.  (The email will also appear in your communication logs so you know it's been sent.)

    • If the client opts out, both you and Secure24 will receive an email notification.

  • Otherwise, you'll get paid $200 from Secure24 if and when the client purchases an alarm system!
