What to Know About Importing New Actions
🌟 It is important to note that a new Action will not fire if the Triggering Event has already happened in that inspection.
For example, let's say you added a new Action to Send an Email > To Clients > At Time of Inspection Scheduled > On All Inspections.
If you have any existing inspections that have already been "Scheduled" (the Triggering Event), your new Action will not apply, even if you use the Import New Actions button, because that event is in the past.
On the other hand, let's say you have an inspection that was just scheduled yesterday, and you added an Action to Send an Email > To Clients > At Time of Reports Published > On All Inspections.
You can click the Import New Actions button, and the emails will fire when the Report is Published (the Triggering Event) because it will happen in the future!
To put it simply: a new Action must be imported to an inspection before the triggering event occurs.
New Actions will always apply to all New Inspections created after the Action was created on your Company Actions page.

Frequently Asked Questions
I made changes to my existing Actions. Will "Import New Actions" update these Actions with my most recent changes?
No, "Import New Actions" will only look for brand new Actions that were not present at the time the inspection was scheduled.
My inspection was scheduled with standard Automations instead of Actions. Can I use Actions on this inspection?
There is not a way to convert an inspection scheduled with Automations to one that uses Actions. The only way to achieve this would be to reorder the inspection and check the "Use Actions on this Inspection?" box during the reorder process.
