Spectora offers the option to display contractor recommendations on defect comments, like a plumbing or deck contractor. You can set these recommendations as defaults in your template, or select them while filling out your report in the app or on the web.
Adding a Recommended Contractor Type in the Template
In this section, we'll show you how to set a recommended contractor/professional type in your template. Setting the contractor type in the template ensures all future reports will have your preferred recommendation already listed.

Click "Templates"
Click "My Templates"
Select your template in the dropdown menu
Click on a section in the left column to open it
Click on an item in the middle column to open it
Click on a defect comment to expand it
Click under "Recommendation" to open a dropdown menu
Select your preferred recommendation for a professional in the dropdown menu

Click on the inspection to open the Inspection Details page
Click on the report name in the Reports box to open the web editor
Click on a section in the left column to open it
Click on an item in the middle column to open it
Click on a defect comment to expand it
Click below "Recommendation" to open a dropdown menu
Select your preferred recommended professional type in the dropdown menu
