Organization Service IDs allow an organization to standardize business reporting based on service IDs vs names across all companies within the organization. This is especially helpful when service names need to be varied due to preference, region, marketing, ect.
Configuration
If your company is on Advanced and is part of an organization in Spectora you will now see a field labeled Organization Service ID for each service and add-on.
Using Service IDs
To leverage the Service ID just enter an ID of your choice into the field for each service or add-on you want to account using IDs. The general intention is to use the same service ID for the appropriate services between your various companies using Spectora but it is not restrictive and you may use the ID field however it works best for you business.
Once the service ID(s) are in place you will be able to see them as part of the results of the Custom Data Export when you include the Service Fee Breakdown data selection
The resulting .csv file will include an organization ID column just before each of the included services and/or add-ons columns where an ID has been applied
We do plan to expand the Service IDs in metrics and built in reports in the future.
