Are you looking to schedule a new inspection? No problem! We've got you covered. Our internal scheduler makes it super easy. Just follow these simple instructions and you'll be all set to go!

  1. From your dashboard, click "New Inspection."

  3. Select the time and date of the inspection.

  4. Fill in the address using either the Address Search or the Address Form.

โš ๏ธThis step is required in order to save the inspection. All lines for the address form must be completed including square feet and year built.โš ๏ธ

  5. Input client contact information

  6. Select which Services.

This will automatically pull in any templates, agreements, or modifiers that you have set up in your Services & Fees.

  8. Click "Save Inspection"

After you save the inspection, you should be directed to the inspection details page and ready to go! ๐ŸŽ‰

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the automatic square footage will be the same as the online listing for a home.

There isn't currently a database that offers the square footage of homes without any margin for error. Some include the basement sqft, some don't have the most recent additions to the house, etc.!

You can always edit the square footage or pricing after the inspection is created, or turn off the square footage auto-calculation entirely.

This can be done in Settings > Scheduling Options > Uncheck Enable Sqft/Age of Home Data. By turning off the automatic square footage, your client or agent will need to fill in that field using the listing information.

FAQ

  • Why isnโ€™t it letting me save an inspection? The "Save" option is greyed out

    • Please make sure that each address line is filled out correctly, including square footage, year built, and foundation.

  • Why am I receiving "An error occurred, your changes likely did not save" when trying to save the inspection?

    • If you are receiving this error, please try clearing your browser's cache, checking for browser extensions that could be causing issues, or trying a different browser.
      โ€‹

  • I accidentally navigated off the internal scheduler, did I lose all my information?

    • Most likely, no! You should be able to resume the incomplete inspection by opening it in the draft inspections widget on your dashboard. This article will provide more information on how to access and resume that booking.
โ€‹*Please note: our Draft Inspections feature is not currently compatible with the Safari web browser.
