Tired of navigating through your defect comment list to find one you use every day? We have an easy way to sort your defect comments by how often they are used!
When you select this option, it will re-sort all defect comments in your template by the number of times they have been checked while reporting. This count is based on your all-time use of the comments in this template.
Please note that this action is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to Sort Defect Comments by Most Used
From your dashboard, click "Templates."
Click "My Templates."
Select the template you would like to edit.
Click the three dots in the top right corner.
Select "Template Tools."
Click "Sort Defect Comments by Most Used."
Click "Reorder Comments."
Select "Yes, do it!"

Frequently Asked Questions
If I received my template from someone else or it was shared with me, will their comment count also be included?
Nope! Even if you are using a template sent from another account, only your comment count will go into the calculation.
Will this continue to update if my count changes?
This is a one-time sorting, so it will not dynamically update as your comment count changes. You can repeat this action as often as you would like to keep the order updated!
Will this update ALL my templates or just the template I am working on?
This will only impact the template you have selected. If you would like to do this on all your templates, you will need to select this one-by-one.
Is there a report to run to see what defects we commonly put on reports?
What you can do is sort your template by most used defects, then export it into a spreadsheet!
What if a comment has the same number of usage, how will it be sorted?
If comments have been used the exact same number of times, the comment which was added first to the template will be first in order. If they were added at the same time, they will fall back to alphabetical.
Is there a way to sort my defects by the top 3 or 5 most used?
Unfortunately no. This tool will sort all defects and we do not have the option to reduce the amount of defects sorted at this time.
If I "Sort Defect Comments by Most used" will this change the order of the sections and the Items or just the order of the recommendations inside of the items?
That tool will only re-arrange your Defect Comments inside the items, not the Sections or Items themselves
How come when I copy my template and then "sort defects by most used, " no changes happen?
The tool organizes by the amount of times that comment was used in a report. If you copy the template, that means that the total number of usage will start from scratch.
