If you need to share your report with another person like the selling/listing agent, or need to send them the link to the Client Portal, you can easily do so right from the inspection on the web.

How to Use the Share Details Button

The most direct way to have another party pay for the inspection is to send them an email via the Share Details button.

🔴 Note: Using the "Share Details" button will send the link to the client portal. This link will contain everything the client is able to see for the inspection - the invoice, agreements, and the final report.

If you do not want the 3rd party to have access to the report, send them the URL report link instead!

💡 Quick tip: Click on the video above to expand it in another window.

  1. Click on the inspection to open the Inspection Details page

  2. Click "Share Details"

  3. Enter the 3rd party's email in the "To" field

  4. Edit the subject line

  5. Edit the body of the email

  6. Be sure to keep the "Sign & Pay" button

  7. Click "Send Email"

  2. Click "View" under the report name

  3. Copy the URL and email it to the 3rd party person

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why didn't the listing agent receive the report?

    • We don't automatically publish reports to the listing agent on the inspection to protect client privacy and due to certain state restrictions. In order to send the report to the listing agent, you'll need to email them the URL link to the web report or PDF report.
