Tips and tricks for safely storing inspection report photos on your device, ensuring easy access for future reference.

We understand the importance of keeping your report photos safe and easily accessible. That's why we've made it easy for you to store photos with our "Backup photos to gallery" option in the mobile app settings.

How to Backup Photos to Your Gallery in Our V9 App

  1. Tap the 3 lines in the upper right corner to open the app's menu

  2. Tap Settings

  3. Toggle "Backup photos to gallery"

  3. Toggle "Save Media to Gallery"

That's it! From now on, any photos you take within the app will automatically be saved to your device's photo gallery.


What about inspection photos that aren't included in the report?

You can easily save additional documentation/CYA photos directly to your device's gallery using the "Gallery Camera" option in either of our apps.

๐Ÿ”น This setting is always available in V10, so there is no need to enable it - you can use it right away!

When completing an inspection report, you'll now see a camera icon in the footer of the app that will take photos that save directly to the folder on your device for this inspection:


Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where can I find the photos that have been saved to my device?
    โ€‹The inspection photos you take will be added to their own folder in your device's photo gallery labeled with the Inspection's date and address.
    โ€‹

  • How can I back up these photos so they aren't taking up so much space on my phone?
    We recommend using a cloud-based service like Google Photos in order to delete photos and free up space on your phone, while still keeping your photos safe and secure.
