PriorityLab Integration: Environmental Testing Reports in Spectora

How the PriorityLab environmental testing integration sends inspection info to PriorityLab and automatically returns completed reports into Spectora. Priority Lab integration.

Written by Shannon Lewis

PriorityLab is an environmental testing platform. This integration is optional and requires a PriorityLab account.

How it works - Setting up the integration

  1. Go to your Integrations page in Spectora.

  2. Find PriorityLab and select Connect.

  3. You'll be redirected to PriorityLab's login page — log in to your PriorityLab account.

  4. Review what information the integration will access, then select Authorize.

  5. Once authorized, the integration is connected. On PriorityLab's side, you can specify which service category types (air, asbestos, lead, mold, radon, water) should be connected to send inspection data to PriorityLab. Leave all selected if you use PriorityLab for all of them, or deselect any service type you handle through a different provider.

When you create an inspection, Spectora checks whether it includes a service category type that matches one of the service types you've enabled for PriorityLab (air, asbestos, lead, mold, radon, or water). If it does, that inspection's data is sent over to PriorityLab and appears under PriorityLab's appointments section.

Once the test is completed and the report generated on PriorityLab's side, PriorityLab automatically sends the completed report back into Spectora, where it appears under the Reports section on that inspection. Once you publish the inspection, the report is also available to your client through the client portal.

Note: This integration is built by PriorityLab, not directly by Spectora.

Why use this integration

This integration reduces duplicate data entry across two systems and removes the manual step of downloading a report from PriorityLab or email and uploading it into Spectora for every environmental testing transaction. It reduces human error when managing externally produced reports and bringing them back into Spectora.

Service category types

For an inspection's data to be sent to PriorityLab, the inspection must include a service category whose type matches one of the service types you've enabled in your PriorityLab configuration (air, asbestos, lead, mold, radon, or water). PriorityLab matches on the service category type, not on the service category's display name — so if you've renamed a service category, double-check that its underlying type still matches the intended service in your service category settings in Spectora.

Steps to enable

This integration is optional. To enable it in your Spectora account:

  1. Click on your inspector name in the top right, then select Integrations.

  2. Click Connect on the PriorityLab card.

  3. You will need an account with PriorityLab to complete the integration.
