You have a couple of options for getting your data to the web on Next Gen!

Both are great and reliable options to be sure all changes on your inspection are making it to the web. ๐Ÿค

Finding your sync setting

To choose your sync option n the app go to Settings > Reports > Automatic Syncing and toggle it on or off.

Automatic syncing

Automatic syncing means that the app will send data to the web and pull changes back to your device as you add it. To do this, it needs a good internet connection. If you work offline, the app will try intermittently, waiting longer between each failed sync, to send up data.

This can be a really great option for team inspections or for anyone who needs to get real-time updates between multiple devices at once.

Manual sync

Manual sync means that we will not try to send anything up to the web until you give the app the go-ahead. When you hit sync, it will send all queued data up to the web and pull down any changes from the web or other devices on the inspection.

To use manual sync on Next Gen:

  1. Click into the inspection you want to sync.

  2. Swipe up to open the Reports menu.

  3. Select the cloud icon in the top right corner of the Reports menu.

  4. Hit Sync Changes button at the bottom!
