When activated in your PDF display options, this setting adjusts the arrangement of comments based on their size, rather than their order in the editor or template.
If you notice that your comments look different in your report editor versus the report itself, it's likely that minimize whitespace layout is enabled.
Here's how it works:
Comments with fewer than 70 characters and no pictures are grouped together at the beginning of each section.
Next, comments with fewer than 70 characters and one picture are organized.
Finally, comments with more than 70 characters or multiple pictures are placed at the end of the section.

Click "Templates"
Click "My Templates"
Select your template from the dropdown menu
Click the 3 dots in the top right corner
Click "Template Settings" in the dropdown menu
Click "Display Options"
To enable Minimize Whitespace Layout, check the box to the left of the setting name
To disable Minimize Whitespace Layout, uncheck the box to the left of the setting name
Click "Save"

What Does Minimize Whitespace Layout Look Like in My Report?
With minimize whitespace layout enabled, your short-form comments (like multiple-choice comments) are grouped together in 3 columns at the top of the section. Longer comments and comments with photos are full-row (meaning they extend the full width of the page) and grouped together at the bottom of the section.
