Occasionally, you may need to manually send an advanced automation email or text to the client/agent on an inspection. This can include things like:

  • Sending a confirmation email for a rescheduled inspection

  • Resending agreements, reminders, or payment links

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why isn't the "send" button showing up next to my action/automation?

    • If the send button isn't showing, you'll need to enable the advanced automation first. To do so, toggle the switch to change it from 'disabled' to 'enabled.'

  • Why didn't my email/text send when I scheduled the inspection? Do I need to manually send it?

    • If the inspection was scheduled/confirmed with notifications disabled, your scheduling automations may not have been fired. This is because those automations look for the triggering event which is the inspection being confirmed.

    • If notifications are disabled during that triggering event (scheduling/confirmation), the automation will miss the event and will not be sent out. You will need to manually send the automation so the client/agent can receive the message.

  • Can I send a one-off email instead?
