Email headers and footers are essential components of any professional email. They provide important information and branding elements, ensuring your emails look polished and trustworthy.


Default and Custom Headers

Default email headers are the basic headers in Spectora. The default email header is the company logo entered in your profile. If you'd prefer to create a custom header instead, you can enter any information you'd like that will show in your emails. In this section, we'll show you how to set up a default or a custom email header.

  1. Click "Settings"

  2. Click "Email" under Business Tools

  3. Select if you want to use the default header or create a custom header in the dropdown menu

  4. The default header uses the company logo in your profile

  5. The default header will show your company logo in your emails

  6. A custom header allows you to add any info you want

  7. The custom header will show the info you enter in the custom header text box

Default and Custom Footers

Custom Email Footers are personalized elements added to the bottom of your emails that can include a variety of content tailored to your specific needs and branding. Unlike default footers, which include the inspection's primary inspector profile, custom footers provide a way to enhance your emails with more detailed and branded information. In this section, we'll show you how to set up default and custom email footers.

  1. Click "Settings"

  2. Click "Email" under Business Tools

  3. Select if you want to use the default footer or create a custom footer in the dropdown menu

  4. The default footer will automatically use the inspection's primary inspector profile

  5. The default footer will show in your emails exactly as it does in your settings

  6. The custom footer allows you to enter any info you'd like

  7. Utilize the placeholders on the right in the custom footer

  8. The custom footer will show in your emails with the info you enter in the custom footer text box

Custom Coding With Actions

With Actions you do have the Code View option so that you can add personalized HTML code to all of your emails - we do have some inspectors who use this to personalize their emails even more!
