How to Enable Automatic Syncing on Next Gen
Automatic syncing allows the app to instantaneously transfer data to the web and retrieve any changes made to your device. To ensure smooth operation, a strong internet connection is necessary. If you happen to work offline, don't worry, the app will continue to try and sync periodically. It will even increase the time between sync attempts to save your data.
This feature is especially beneficial for team inspections and those who require simultaneous updates on multiple devices.
Sign in to your account on the app.
Click the three lines in the top left.
Select "Settings."
Enable "Automatic Syncing" by clicking on the toggle option. It will turn blue to indicate it has been enabled.
How to Enable Manual Syncing on Next Gen
With manual syncing, you have full control over when data is transmitted to the web. Simply hit the sync button and all queued information will be sent up, while also updating any changes from the web or other devices during the inspection. Rest assured that no data will be sent until you choose to do so.
Please be advised that when manually syncing, a significant amount of data and photos may require several minutes to fully synchronize.
