We've made it easy to bring your Whisper template into Spectora! Imports are never apples-to-apples, but we hope the import process gives you a great head-start in making the switch!
Creating the Template Backup
First, you'll have to export your comments from Whisper. There are a few steps to this, so we've made this video to guide you through the process.

Open the WhisperReporter
Click "File" then click "Browse Reports"
Click "Marked as Template" to check the box
Select the Template from the list you would like to export and click "OK"
Click "File" then click "Data Manager"
Select "Backup reports or other data to a backup file"
Select "Backup Current Report Only"
Enter the location where you would like to save the backup
Click "Backup"
Click "OK"
Click "Back"
Click "Back" again
Select "RapidRemarks"
Click "Next"
Enter the location where you would like to save the RapidRemarks
Click "Backup"
Click "OK"
Click "Close"
Navigate to where you placed the Template Backup and RapidRemarks
Right-click the RapidRemarks backup (Starts with WR_RRBackup) and select "Extract All"
Click "Extract"
This will open a new window
Select all the files in this folder and drag them onto the template backup zip file
Open the template backup zip file
The important parts are the files beginning with a bunch of numbers and letters, like xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx, and those beginning files with WhisperRapidRemarks.
If you have all of these in the Template backup zip file now, then you are ready to import it into Spectora!
Importing Your Template File
Now that you've created your template zip file from Whisper, you're ready to import it into your Spectora account. Follow along with the steps below to import your file.

Click "Templates"
Click the 3 dots in the top right corner
Click "Add Templates" in the dropdown menu
Click "Import from another software"
Click "Choose File"
Select the backup file you created of your Whisper Template from your computer files
Click "Import Template"
And that's it! Now you can set up your template settings and start using the new template for your inspections.
