When writing automation emails in Base or Advanced Automations, Spectora automatically scans your email templates for wording that could be flagged as spam by email providers like Gmail. If any issues are found, you can review and fix them right inside the template editor — before the email ever fails to reach your clients' inboxes.
How It Works
How It Works
A background scan runs automatically on your automation email templates. When potential issues are detected, a banner appears at the top of the email editor letting you know.
Click Run scan now in the banner to start the full scan.
A results banner appears showing how many issues were found. Click Review items to walk through them one at a time, or Dismiss to close.
Each flagged issue is highlighted in the email. Use the arrow to move between issues.
Each flagged issue shows:
Which part of the email is affected — subject line or body
The severity: Minor (may affect delivery) or Critical (will likely fail to deliver)
A plain-language explanation of why the wording could trigger spam filters
An option to rewrite the text yourself, or dismiss the flag
You write your own fix — nothing is automatically changed for you.
Key Things to Know
Key Things to Know
No setup needed — the scan is automatically available on your automation email template pages
Both the subject line and email body are checked
Severity levels help you prioritize: Critical issues will likely prevent delivery; Minor issues may affect it
You write your own fixes — nothing is auto-corrected
Only you see the scan results — they are never shown to your clients
SMS messages are not affected by this feature
What's Covered
What's Covered
The deliverability scan covers email templates in Base Automations and Advanced Automations. It does not apply to one-off emails sent manually from an inspection.
✨ This feature is automatically available on your automation email template pages. It may roll out to a smaller group of accounts first before becoming available to everyone.
