You might want to delete mock inspections, especially if you're still on your free trial and used your last free trial inspection, or you may need to remove an accidental duplicate inspection. Whatever the reason, we're here to help. In this article, we'll show you how to delete any inspection that has not been published.
Deleting an Inspection
Click on the inspection to open the Inspection Details page
Click "More" in the top right corner
Click "Delete" in the dropdown menu
Click "Delete Inspection"
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is the "delete" option not available on my inspection?
If you have already published the inspection report(s), the system will not let you delete the inspection. You can only delete inspections that have not been published.
Can I delete my last free trial inspection? It wasn't a real inspection, as I was just testing the software.
Absolutely! As long as it is not published, you can delete it.
Why do I have only one free inspection left if I have not yet submitted any reports thus far?
With the free trial, the inspection count will add up any inspections that you have scheduled, regardless of whether the reports have been submitted or published.
You can delete inspections that have not been published yet to reopen a spot, as only published inspections will permanently take a trial inspection spot; deleting a published inspection will not open up this trial spot again.
How do I archive an inspection?
The same way you delete an inspection! Inspections get archived rather than fully deleted if the report on the inspection has been published, but it's otherwise the same process.
