You can delete any unpublished inspection

You might want to delete mock inspections, especially if you're still on your free trial and used your last free trial inspection, or you may need to remove an accidental duplicate inspection. Whatever the reason, we're here to help. In this article, we'll show you how to delete any inspection that has not been published.


Deleting an Inspection

  1. Click on the inspection to open the Inspection Details page

  2. Click "More" in the top right corner

  3. Click "Delete" in the dropdown menu

  4. Click "Delete Inspection"


Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why is the "delete" option not available on my inspection?

    • If you have already published the inspection report(s), the system will not let you delete the inspection. You can only delete inspections that have not been published.
      ​

  • Can I delete my last free trial inspection? It wasn't a real inspection, as I was just testing the software.

    • Absolutely! As long as it is not published, you can delete it.
      ​

  • Why do I have only one free inspection left if I have not yet submitted any reports thus far?

    • With the free trial, the inspection count will add up any inspections that you have scheduled, regardless of whether the reports have been submitted or published. You can delete inspections that have not been published yet to reopen a spot.​
