General Login Issues
Steps to Regain Access:
Reset Your Password: - Click the “Forgot Password” option on the login page. - Enter your registered email address and follow the instructions to reset your password. - After resetting, try logging in again.
Verify Your Email Address: - Ensure the email address you’re using is correct and matches the one associated with your account. - Avoid extra spaces or special characters when entering your email.
Clear Cached Data: - Clear your browser’s saved data and autofill credentials. - Refresh the page and manually enter your login details.- Additionally, remove any stored passwords pointing to incorrect URLs (e.g., agents.spectora.com).4. Verify Your Account Status: - Ensure your account is active and associated with the correct team or company. If your account is inactive due to subscription reassignment, contact your company admin to reassign the subscription to your account.
Account Lockouts
Your account locks automatically after multiple failed login attempts and unlocks on its own after 15 minutes. Contacting support will not speed this up — we cannot manually override lockouts. Use Forgot Password after the 15 minutes if you need to reset your password.
How to Unlock Your Account:
Wait for 15 minutes for the lockout to automatically clear.
After the lockout period, reset your password if needed and try logging in again.
Use the eye icon on the password field to confirm the characters you’re entering. Avoid using autofill or pasted text.
Password Reset and Recovery

If you don’t receive the password reset email, ensure you’re using the correct email address associated with your account.
For website admin access, append /login or /wp-admin to your website URL to access the login page.- If you haven’t verified your account, locate the confirmation email in your inbox and click the link to complete the setup. If you can’t find the email, use the “Resend confirmation email” option on the login page.
If you’ve changed your email address, check your new email inbox for a password reset email from Spectora. Follow the prompts to reset your password and log in using your updated email and password.
Employer-Related Email Issues:
If your employer used an incorrect email for your account, they will need to create a new profile with the correct email address.- If your email is associated with a client profile, it cannot be used for an inspector account. Ask the inspector who added you as a client to change the email on the client profile. Once updated, you can register a new inspector account with that email.
App-Specific Login Challenges
