For Advanced users we're excited to introduce AI Message Assist with Advanced Automations! You can now use AI to create narratives for your email automations and text automations if you have a custom phone number with us. AI Message Assist helps reduce manual effort while keeping client and agent communications relevant and on point.
This feature is currently in early access and not yet available to all users.

Accessing AI Message Assist on Advanced Automations
You can use AI Message Assist to generate brand-new email or text templates and use it to refine existing automation communication templates as well. You'll be able to access AI Message Assist within each communication template.
How it Works
AI Message Assist will utilize AI to generate the email (or text if you have a custom phone number) body and subject. Keep in mind, the triggering event or "When this happens" and time constraints will be used by the AI to improve the verbiage. Once you click the "AI Assist" button, a new menu will populate where you can refine what you want the AI to generate.
Here is a quick view of using the AI Message Assist to generate a new email body.
When generating a new email communication you'll see where to select what the message is in regards to and the tone. You can also type specifics on what this email is about for the AI to use when generating your email.
For example:
Once generated you'll see options to refine, start over, or use original message. Keep in mind, you won't be able to edit the verbiage until you click "Use original message".
Once you're satisfied with the AI generation, click "Use original message". This will take you back to the main editing page.
Here you can edit the email body for whatever manual changes you'd like to make, go back to AI Message Assist to further refine, or click "Undo" to clear it entirely.
✨ AI Message Assist will attempt to automatically add the appropriate placeholders. AI can make mistakes, so always double-check the correct placeholder has been used.
Refining Existing Communications with AI
You can click "AI Assist" to refine an existing communication, whether it was generated with AI Message Assist or it's one you've had for a while!
Here is a quick example of what that refining process looks like:
When you click "AI Assist" on an existing communication, a new menu will populate with a drop-down to select refining options, and you can type clearer instructions.
Once you're ready, click "Refine Original" and let the AI work its magic.
Once generated you can refine further, toggle between the Original and Refined verbiage, then select which you'd like to use.
For example, if you're on the "Refined" version, the button on the bottom right will say "Use refined message".
That's it, once you're done with the AI Message Assist, you can continue editing and save your automation as normal!
