We do daily calls answering questions about SEO. Here are the most common!
How long does SEO take to work?
There is no consistent answer here. If a company promises you anything, run.
Each city has different levels of competition and SEO is dependent on what your competition is doing since there are only so many spots in the search results.
We have seen positive results in as little as 3 months, with meaningful rank and traffic increases after 6 months of being on our plans.
SEO is meant to be a long-term commitment. The benefits of consistent traffic and inspections is well documented and well worth it!
What else is included in SEO besides content?
Monthly review and work on your page speed, title tags, on-page content, images, and meta tags.
Help with getting more reviews in more places
Internal linking and light link-building
Premium page types (ie: promoting new features)
Account manager for edits and SEO questions and strategy
Does social media help with SEO?
It indirectly helps by exposing your brand to agents and clients, and potentially getting clicks to your site. It is not known to be a pure SEO ranking factor.
Can I help with writing content or with ideas?
Yes please! We love when you help with content and/or ideas. This is when we get the best results!
The questions and conversations you have with clients and agents everyday is often the best for topics we can write about.
How do we know it's working?
Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google My Business are great indicators of working SEO. This will give a good picture of how many calls and online bookings you get from Google.
The goal is to make incremental progress each month on the way to the top of the rankings! (Which results in more inspections!)
*Remember, for each organic customer you get you're meeting a new agent that you wouldn't have met otherwise. So the ROI on 1 inspection can be 2-10X!
A company said they can get me ranked first for $100. Why wouldn't I use them?
The rule of thumb with SEO companies is that if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Good SEO takes human hours and hard work. There are no shortcuts anymore.
I need business asap. Should I do SEO?
No. You are most likely a better candidate for Pay-Per-Click services.
