It's a good idea to track conversions on your website, especially if you're running an ad campaign and want to see if you're making a profit. In this article, you will learn how to track when someone fills out your online scheduler or Get a Quote Widget in Google Analytics.
First, if you don't already have a Google Analytics account, you need to set one up. Here's a link that will show you how to do that: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1008015?hl=en
Next, you want to set up conversion tracking in your Spectora account. Go to settings > online scheduler > and you should see Conversion URL*. Type in "/thank-you/" (without the quotes). This will be your tracking url. If you already have a Thank You page called /thank-you/ then call it something else, like "/form-submitted/", it doesn't matter, nobody sees this.
Also, make sure you enter your Google Analytics tracking number below it or it won't work.
Now go to your Google Analytics account and navigate to the admin panel and select Goals. Click the red button that says "+New Goal"
Goal Setup > Custom
Goal Description > "Scheduled Online" (whatever you want it to say)
Goal Slot ID - doesn't matter, just leave it
Goal Type > Destination
Goal Details > Destination equals to /thank-you/ (or whatever url you specified in Spectora)
Save.
You can repeat the same steps for the Get A Quote Widget.
Make sure to pick a new URL in Spectora (/got-quote/) and name this new goal something different (Quote Submitted).
