STEPS FOR ACCEPTING PAYMENT THROUGH GUARDIAN FINANCIAL & AUTHORIZE.NET

1. Go to Spectora’s partner page on Guardian’s website and fill out the sign up form to get started or call to speak with Guardian directly at 1-800-608-7363. Speak with the owners, Aaron at ext. 605 or Ben at ext. 603.

2. Guardian will set you up with an Authorize.net gateway account that you can log into – log in here

3. From the dashboard, navigate to the Settings page

4. Click on API Credentials & Keys

5. On this page, you will see an option to request an API Login ID and a Transaction Key. You will need to setup a secret question the first time. The screenshot below is what it should look like after you’ve generated an API Login ID and a Transaction Key.

6. Copy and paste both of these IDs into the corresponding fields on your Spectora account under Settings>Payments (Authorize.net will need to be selected in the drop down box)

7. On your Authorize.net account, click on Settings>Manage Public Client Key

8. Request a Client Key

9. Copy and paste this string into the 3rd and final field on your Spectora Payments page

You’re All Set Up!

Now you’ll want to make sure your booking emails are set up the way you want them. By default we include a link for your clients to sign the Inspection Agreement. When they click on that they will also see a “Pay” button that easily allows them to pay for their inspection so you never have to accept payment on-site again!

Make sure a link to the inspection is included via the {{Inspection_Link}} placeholder.

Payment is accepted through a seamless customer experience. Next make sure your client reminder and agent reminder emails are set up with what you want to say prior to inspection day.
