How to Add or Remove an Agreement on an Existing Inspection

Occasionally, you may need to add or remove an agreement from an inspection after it's already been scheduled. This could be because of changes in the services being performed, changes to your agreement verbiage, or something else. You can easily add a new agreement or delete an agreement from an existing inspection.


How to Add a New Agreement to an Existing Inspection

If you need to add a new or additional agreement to an inspection for your client to sign, fret not. This can be done on the web with just a few steps. In this section, we'll show you how you can easily add a new agreement to an inspection.

  1. Click on the inspection to open the Inspection Details page

  2. Click the 3 dots in the Agreements box

  3. Click "Add Agreement"

  4. Select the needed agreement from the dropdown menu

  5. Click "Add Agreement"

  6. The newly added agreement will show in the Agreements box in red

    1. The agreement will show in red as it has not been signed by the client yet


How to Remove an Agreement from an Existing Inspection

Maybe you added the wrong agreement or made changes to your agreement wording. If you need to remove an agreement, this can quickly be done via the web. In this section, we'll show you how to delete an agreement from an inspection.

  1. Click on the inspection to open the Inspection Details page

  2. Click the 3 dots to the right of the agreement you want to remove

  3. Click "Delete" in the dropdown menu



How to Upload a Hard Copy of an Agreement

If your client signed their agreement outside of Spectora, you can upload a scanned copy of the document to their inspection. This will demonstrate that the agreement has been signed, help to unlock the report, and keep all of your records in the same place.

  1. Click on the inspection to open the Inspection Details page

  2. Click the 3 dots to the right of the agreement in the Agreements box

  3. Click "+File" from the drop-down menu

  4. Click "Choose File" and select the scanned hard copy from your files

  5. Click the blue "Upload" button

  6. You'll be directed to the client portal where a message will indicate the agreement was successfully updated.

  7. Click the blue "Inspection Details" button in the lower left corner to return to the Inspection Details page
